Course Description: This training describes the role, design and functions of Emergency Operations Centers and their relationships as components of a multi-agency coordination system Objectives: •Understanding of the emergency management process in Iowa •How different response partners fit into the system •How resources are requested and •What it means when there is a disaster declaration? Students will learn to design incident action plans to meet the demands of incidents at the hospital. Students will be able to: • Identify the four key elements of an incident action plan • Determine which elements are needed based on the incident.
