This course is designed for senior personnel who are expected to perform in a management capacity in an Area Command or Multi-agency coordination system. This course will provide overall incident management skills rather than tactical expertise. This course builds upon the concepts learned in the FEMA IS 100, 200, 700 and ICS 300 courses. Objectives: 1. Explain how major incidents pose special management challenges 2. Describe the circumstances in which an Area Command is established 3.
