Goal/Intended Audience
This course is intended for emergency department nurses who work with patients that smoke tobacco products.
Course Content
The course consists of a presentation on smoking cessation guidelines to be used by nurses and other clinical staff to educate emergency department patients on the hazards of smoking and how the patient can be empowered to quit smoking.
