Course Description and Learning Objectives: 1.Describe how the NIMS command and management component supports the management of expanding incidents. 2.Describe the event management process for expanding incidents and supervisors as prescribed by the Incident Command System. 3.Implement the incident management process on a simulated type 3 incident. 4.Develop an Incident Action Plan for a simulated incident. Target Audience: Public Health Administrators, Hospital Preparedness Staff and individuals who would be in an incident command role or function in their Emergency Operation Center (EOC) Prerequisites: In order to attend this course, students must have completed IS100, IS 200 and IS 700
